Adopting from the Cat Adoption Centre at Niagara Square
What do you need?When adopting from the Adoption Centre, please be prepared. You will need a crate/cage for your new feline friend, and of course your home should be fully prepared with good quality food, a bed and a litter box.
All fees must be paid in cash at the Adoption Centre.

Sally finds her forever homeIt was time for Sally to retire. After several years of being our "education bunny", Sally really didn't enjoy that part of her life any more. She has found a loving forever home with one of the AC volunteers.

Alexis observes:He is a giant teddy bear, he is an absolute sweet heart with a gentle touch especially towards our visitors. You are bound to fall in love with him when you visit. He loves to be pet and cuddled as well as his favorite thing to do sleep. He tends to nap in the Scaredy Cat room in the back but he is anything but shy or scared.

Hello my friends.
My name is Jipsee and I am a very loving senior.
I was brought to the shelter at the end of October when my owners moved and left me behind with no way to take care of myself.
I guess they thought one of the neighbours would look out for me. My neighbours did take me in but I didn't get along with their cat so they couldn't keep me. I did like their Greyhound though..
Although this is a great, safe place and we have lots of food (I do like my food) I'm not sure what to make of all of the other kitties here so I tend to hang out by myself in the back. I am a very good kitty and love lots of attention from our visitors.
If you would like to meet me just let one of the volunteers know and they will introduce us.
Please give me a chance to show you what a loving girl I can be.

Lars is a bit of a scaredy kitty at times but comes out when it is quite. He seems to be okay around other kitties but seems to enjoy being to himself. He also enjoys the attention he gets from the visitors but he also likes to hide so it may be hard to find him. He is a big gentle boy who needs someone to help him gain more trust

Alexis observes:- he is a sweet but shy boy who needs a gentle hand when wanting love, he will come to you when he has gained his trust and he is a sweetie. He will climb on the couch with you and purr away. He does like to hide but doesn't venture far from his normal hiding spot by the front door. In time he will come out of his shell and be an even more affectionate cat than he already is.
