Lost and Found

If you have lost your pet please contact us right away. Our phone number is 905-356-4404.

For lost dogs a description of the animal can be taken over the phone. Please include your tag number in the description as well as any other identification your dog may be wearing.

Due to the large number of cats that are found and the variations in descriptions we ask that you come to the Humane Society to see if your cat is here. When you come in we encourage you to bring a picture of your cat to help with the identification. If you are unable to come to the Humane Society please call us.

If you have lost your pet

1. Print lost posters from your lost report and put up as early as possible
2. Talk with people in the area where your pet was lost so they are aware
3. Go to areas that you may frequent where you walk your dog
4. If it is a cat, check areas that they could be hiding
5. Don't give up looking and feel free to call the shelter to check and see if your pet has been found.

August 19, 2010, 10:04 am Stewie is an orange and white , long haired kitty . He is neautered and around two years old . His front paws are declawed . He is very affectionate cat and will probably come to you if called . He has been missing for the past four days , August 14-15th 2010 around Royal Manor Drive area . lost grey tabby July 21, 2010, 9:14 am 'Murphy' has been lost for nearly two days now. He is a grey tabby cat, domestic short-hair, male & not neutered. He is shy around other people and usually retreats upon a stranger's approach. We live in the Dunn Street area, near Weaver Park. We miss him very much. Jack Russell Pug mix lost July 5, 2010, 2:25 pm i called yesterday in regards to my lost dog. I was just wondering if she was brought in yet. She is a jack russel/pug mix, she is white with brown spots and her head is brown also, she's just 6 months old, so she's small. She didn't have her tags on at the time but she is registered.

Large grey tabby mssing in Grimsby March 25, 2010, 8:16 am Hello, I have lost my cat Chandler on Saturday March 20, 2010 at approximatly at 10pm. We live in Grimsby on Aspen Drive, between Cassablanca and Livingston. He is a large male grey tabby with short hair. His belly is grey, white and cream with spots. He is fixed and is missing his top two cainine teeth. He goes by the name of Chandler or Chi Chi. He is a indoor cat, so will be very timid outside. Have you seen Missy? March 16, 2010, 10:38 am Listed: March 15, 2010 Missing since: March 12, 2010 LOST: As we were moving our cat Missy, got out of the new house and hasn't been seen since. We fear she is trying to make her way back to our old house. Missy is a beautiful long haired Calico cat. She has big green eyes. She is mostly gray and white with orange. She is VERY timid towards humans. Missy was lost on St. Lawrence Ave and Simco St. in Niagara Falls. If she is trying to make her way back home, she may be found in the Preakness, Paddock Trail or Post Road area. We are doing everything we can to get our cat back. Please help us find her! Found

Young Declawed, Spayed Calico August 8, 2010, 3:25 pm I have an adult calico cat living in my yard/garage. She has a very sweet disposition and is very affectionate. One neighbour took her in the house and she was well behaved. Colleen 905-374-7577 P.S.: She was found on Byng Avenue [ Lundy´s Lane & Dorchester area] In Niagara Falls. She´s been a stray around here for about 2 weeks. (See attached photos.)

Have you lost this dog? July 5, 2010, 2:26 pm He's a sweet boy, young not neutered had a blue harness on with super long beige leash. He was found around Port Dalhousie Yacht club, we've called there as well and no one's been looking for him.
