On November 21st the Niagara Falls Humane Society were involved in the rescue of this feathery friend on a farm on Garner Road. This female Great Horned Owl had somehow got tangled in an electrified cattle fence and with damage to a wing. The bone was visible and it did not look good but we are glad to say that the bird was immediatly delivered to Kay McKeever (The Owl Foundation) and is doing great!
