Jack Russel Terrier Mix
Colour:
Tri
Sex:
Female Spayed
DOB:
5 years
Adoption Status: Adopted Description:
Dog Walker Phyllis spent sometime with Diva and had this to share: I so enjoy the time I spend walking with this spunky little girl. She seems to have gained confidence with repeated outings and is beginning to really like playing, especially with half of a beat up old tennis ball. It's out by one of the trees and as soon as she spots it she leaps on it and the fun begins. Soon she can be loose in the outdoor play area, once her spay has healed completely, and I look forward to seeing her release more energy and run to her heart's content. She's very clever and has 'sit' down to an art! If you're looking for a small dog with big heaps of happiness to share, come meet The Diva! Diva is a sweet girl who can be a little shy sometimes. She warms up once she gets to know you. Diva is best suited in an adult home only as she can be nervous and is much happier and confident being around adults. She is a loving spunky girl who loves to go for runs and walks and enjoys exploring.

He knows his name and if you sit down, he will come to you and lay down with his paws on your chest. He's also a cat that doesn't mind being picked up. Leona

Adopted: Sep-21-16

Leona

Type:
dog
Breed:
Maltese Mix
Colour:
White
Sex:
Female Spayed
DOB:
7 years
Adoption Status: Adopted Description:
Little Leona came to the shelter in rough shape , she has since gained weight and confidence. Leona had to have some dental work done which is a high cost for the shelter , she had a few teeth removed and is feeling much better ! Leona has a $500 adoption fee. This little girl is ready to find a forever home who will love and spoil her. Dog Walker Phyllis spent sometime with Leona and shared this: At first Leona hung back in her kennel when I would approach, but now she is as excited as all of the dogs to come out and play. She's such a tiny little girl, and seems to prefer being behind me when walking. I sense an apprehension when she knows someone is coming up behind her. Sudden loud noises and movements will frighten her, and therefore a secure leash is a must, so she doesn't flee. For the most part she exhibits happiness and curiosity and with time will learn that outside walks and playtimes are a great way to spend your days. She loves sitting in my lap, snuggling and giving kisses. What a darling companion she will be.
