Although Creamsicle is deaf she is not the least bit timid and follows visitors around looking for someone to give her a good pet. She is very playful and loves chase around toys dangled on a piece of string. She is great with kids and the other kitties. She is an absolute sweetheart looking for someone to love her.

I was found as a stray and brought to the Humane Society in January 2011. I was so hungry and cold and so happy to be saved. Although we are very well taken care of here I get lonely sometimes because I don't have my own family to love me. I crave human attention and love to have my tummy rubbed. I am a very sweet 1 1/2 year old girl. Along with some of my friends here I was rescued from the cold and brought to the Humane Society around Feb 2011. The volunteers say I am a gorgeous girl with an adorable personality. I like to think they are right. And.. if they are right then I can't understand why someone hasn't fallen in love with me and taken me home. If you get close to me I will meow quietly or tap you on the arm to get your attention. I love to be pet and will give lots of head butts and kisses in return. I am a gentle kitty looking for my forever home. Come and meet me.. I just might be the one for you.

I was dropped off at the Humane Society in July 2010.
I have been known to have a bit of cattitude in the past and I really didn't enjoy living with so many kitties. Sometimes I got cranky when too many visitors wanted to pet me when I really just wanted to sleep. I guess you can say I didn't encourage anyone to adopt me.
I'm glad to let you know that I realized that wasn't the right way to behave and now enjoy a good pet from kind and patient humans. I love to give you head butts and kitty kisses in return.
I still like to get my own way and don't like too many other kitties around me so would prefer a home where I will be the only feline resident.
I've been here so long... Please come to meet me and give me a chance to show you what a good companion I can be.

Sweet Suri is a bit shy and still getting used to her new surroundings. If you are patient with her though she will let you pet her and once you start she won't want you to stop. She is a real sweetheart.

I am a very affectionate 8 month old sweetie. I was brought to the Humane Society when I was only 3 months old. When I was ready to be adopted I moved to Global Pet Foods where I was well taken care of by the great ladies there. I've been timid all my life and didn't let many people get to know me. I'm here now in this enclosure with my friend Shooting Star to see if us shy girls can do something about getting adopted. I've realized in the short time I've been in here that humans are actually very nice and they will pet me and give me a good scratch behind my ears. I LIKE THAT! I have changed so much in the last few weeks! I am I'm ready to trust now and would make an adorable, loving addition to a family who will be patient with me while I get used to my new surrounding and promise to love me forever. I was found on the streets and brought to the Humane Society in September 2010.
I've been a very nervous kitty in the big enclosure so I hide all the time and don't get to show people what a lovable girl I am. You don't get adopted that way!
The volunteers want me to try spending time here, where I can watch everything from a secure place and get used to the activity around me.
I absolutely love, love, love a human touch and really enjoyed it when people would reach into my cubby and give me a good pet. I sure hope I will learn to relax and enjoy spending time here watching the world go by and meeting new people.
I'm looking for a loving family who will work with me to help me to come out of my shell. All I need is kindness & love.

Bubba is 112 pounds of adorable! He is a friendly guy who is good with other dogs, kids and cats.
Bubba and Jersey were surrendered together. They both have experience being off leash and are trustworthy. They love to swim with kids.

Henry is an old gentleman who leads a quiet, relaxed life and will be happy to retire to a new home. His favourite pasttimes are sleeping and eating. Yup, he's a regular old man! He likes it when people pay attention to him or keep him company on the couch, but he can be grumpy when the other kitties try to get his food or when someone wakes him up from his nap!
