Adoption Status: Adopted Description:
My name is Priscilla and I am a friendly, relaxed 3 1/2 year old. I was found as a stray and brought to the shelter in June 2010 just before my kittens were born. My three babies were born on July 6th but since I was a malnourished kitty they didn't really have a chance and they all passed away. That made me very sad. I am a very affectionate and playful girl and am so happy when you can give me some love and attention. I’ve been waiting for over a year to go to my forever home. You can usually find me right in front of the door. I don’t want to miss anybody who is coming in for a visit. Please ask one of the staff to introduce me to you.. If you come in and sit down for a minute we can get to know each other, and you might just fall in love with me and take me home. A special adoption fee of $80 applies.

cat
Breed:
domestic short hair
Colour:
orange tabby
Sex:
male neutered
DOB:
Jan 2009
Adoption Status: Adopted Description:
I was found as a stray and brought to the Humane Society about 6 months ago. When I first arrived I was a very shy boy and hid a lot but now feel safe here and am out and about all of the time looking for love and affection. I LOVE to to play and will instigate a good game of tag with any other kitty who will play with me. I like it when kids visit because they will dangle toys for me to chase for long periods of time. I'm a big cuddle bug, as you can see above in the picture of me with my good friend Carol. When I had my medical check up the vet found that I had a previous break in my leg that has left me with a funny knee that pops in and out of joint occasionally. This doesn't cause me any pain slow me down or require treatment. It just looks odd sometimes when I am sitting. I am looking for a loving, fun family to take me to my forever home. Am I the kitty for you???

The volunteers were very patient with me and now after lots of encouragement I am totally comfortable here and enjoy running all over the place and playing just like a kitten. You'll probably find me right by the front door, where I hang out in my favourite bed, so I can meet all the new visitors who come to see us.
